Early Sunday morning to London

So I had an alarm call for 4.40am set & was out in the car heading for London by 5am parked up at 5.30 & on location ready for what was unfortunately a quite forgettable sunrise.

However I am a great believer that what you put in as desire & effort for your work something will more often than not be returned & on this day it wasn't to be a colourful sunrise but a bit of mist or murk whichever way you dress it gave atmosphere to a couple of images, more was to come.

As I pondered the dredger that had pulled up a damaged & sunk "Safety Boat" chuckling away at the scene I noticed the water almost slowing to nothing so checked my app for the tide times & it gave me the information I hoped for, it was about to turn.

In essence this means a very short window of the tide not going in or out therefore if the weather conditions allow, no wind then the result is almost still waters, this was to be my reward for an early start & resulting in one of my all time favourite images of Tower Bridge.

After this I headed into The Square Mile to find some installations from famous sculptures from around the world hoping for some unusual shots, not all of it was to my liking so  along the way I took in the spectacularly diverse architecture this area has to offer as well as things that took my creative fancy.

I hope you enjoy looking at the images, especially my favourite of Tower Bridge which will definately be a limited edition set in both colour & black & white, all images are available to purchase as Giclee prints so do please get in touch for details.

Thanks, Steven
