The first weekend of July sees me heading west from London to the remote but stunning corner of Wales that is Pembrokeshire.

My reason for this trip is a long held desire to visit this beautiful part of the country but this time it’s to research the area with all it has to offer photographically to put together a Photography holiday.

Having spent days maybe weeks researching the area from the internet and various books plus what I already knew about Pembrokeshire I ended up with an extensive list of fantastic places to visit. Known for its incredibly rugged coastline battered by the Atlantic sea the trip will be bracing to say the least I am also looking forward to hopefully seeing one of those wonderful sunsets that is famous in this part of the world I do hope the weather will play ball.

There are the must do locations too, which has to include the wonderfully colourful town of Tenby again a bucket list for me and I cannot wait to tick this one off.

From this trip I hope to have an itinerary of places to include on what will become a long weekend Photography Holiday to Pembrokeshire with a conclusive list of places to visit. Light orientations for sunrise and sunset will be known along with walking distances and levels of ease or difficulty to ensure anyone wanting to go will know what they have to deal with before booking the trip.

I’m not sure the full Photography Holiday to Pembrokeshire will be arranged for 2021 (although October is possible) having already scheduled 5 night Photography Holidays to Snowdonia in September and also The Lake District in November and for 2022 Italy in Feb/March & Canary Islands in May limited places are still available on these.

I will be posting over the next few weeks a “Zoom Photography tour of The Lake District” for anyone wanting to know more about this trip as well as “Cornwall” ready for next year’s trip.
